What is ImmersionTrack?
ImmersionTrack is a comprehensive digital platform designed for managing DepEd Senior High School Work Immersion programs. It helps students track their attendance and daily activities, while supervisors and coordinators can monitor progress, approve records, and generate reports.
Who can use ImmersionTrack?
ImmersionTrack is used by:
- Students: SHS students undergoing work immersion
- Supervisors: Company/industry supervisors overseeing students
- Coordinators: School coordinators managing the immersion program
- Administrators: System administrators with full access
How do I get an account?
Accounts are created by your school coordinator or system administrator. Contact your Work Immersion coordinator to request account creation. You'll receive your login credentials via email once your account is set up.
Account & Login
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click the "Forgot Password?" link on the login page. Enter your registered email address, and you'll receive a password reset link. Follow the link to create a new password. The reset link expires after 60 minutes for security purposes.
What is OTP verification?
OTP (One-Time Password) verification is a security feature that protects your account. When you log in from a new device, a 6-digit code is sent to your email. Enter this code to verify it's really you. Once verified, the device becomes "trusted" and won't require OTP again.
Why is my account deactivated?
Accounts may be deactivated for various reasons such as completion of the immersion program, extended inactivity, or administrative decisions. Contact your school coordinator to inquire about reactivation.
Can I change my email address?
Email changes must be done by your coordinator or administrator for security reasons. Contact them if you need to update your email address.
Attendance
How do I record my attendance?
- Log in to your account
- Go to "Attendance" from the sidebar menu
- Click "Time In" when you arrive at your workplace
- Click "Time Out" when you leave
I forgot to time out. What should I do?
Contact your supervisor immediately. They can manually adjust your attendance record with the correct time out. Make sure to provide them with the accurate departure time.
Why is my location not being detected?
Location detection requires:
- Location services enabled on your device
- Browser permission to access location
- Stable internet connection
How many hours do I need to complete?
The required hours depend on your strand and school's curriculum. Typically, SHS students need to complete 80 hours of work immersion. Your dashboard shows your required hours, completed hours, and remaining hours.
Daily Logs
How often should I submit daily logs?
You should submit a daily log for each day you attend work immersion. It's best to submit logs at the end of each day while your experiences are still fresh. Late submissions may require additional approval from your supervisor.
What should I include in my daily log?
A good daily log includes:
- Specific tasks and activities performed
- Skills learned or practiced
- Challenges encountered and how you addressed them
- Personal reflections and insights
- Connection to your strand's competencies
My log was rejected. What should I do?
Check the feedback from your supervisor on why it was rejected. Common reasons include insufficient detail, missing required information, or formatting issues. Edit your log based on the feedback and resubmit for approval.
Technical Issues
The page is not loading properly. What should I do?
Try these solutions:
- Refresh the page (Ctrl+F5 for hard refresh)
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
- Check your internet connection
- Disable browser extensions that might interfere
Can I use ImmersionTrack on my phone?
Yes! ImmersionTrack is fully responsive and works on mobile devices. You can access it through your phone's web browser. For the best experience, you can also add it to your home screen as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
