Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using ImmersionTrack ("the System"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this system.
These terms apply to all users of the system, including students, supervisors, coordinators, and administrators participating in the DepEd Senior High School Work Immersion Program.
Account Registration
To use ImmersionTrack, you must have an account created by your school coordinator or system administrator. By using your account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Not share your account credentials with others
- Notify your coordinator immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Important: Sharing login credentials or allowing others to access your account may result in account suspension and disciplinary action.
Acceptable Use
When using ImmersionTrack, you agree to:
- Use the system only for its intended purpose of managing work immersion activities
- Record accurate and truthful attendance information
- Submit genuine daily logs reflecting actual work performed
- Respect the privacy of other users
- Follow all applicable school policies and DepEd guidelines
- Report any system issues or security concerns to administrators
Prohibited Activities
You are prohibited from:
- Falsifying Records: Submitting false attendance, fake time entries, or fabricated daily logs
- Identity Fraud: Accessing or using another person's account
- Location Spoofing: Using tools or methods to fake your location during attendance verification
- System Abuse: Attempting to hack, disrupt, or compromise system security
- Data Manipulation: Altering, deleting, or tampering with records improperly
- Harassment: Using the system to harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Spam: Sending unsolicited or inappropriate messages through the system
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to access features or data beyond your permission level
Consequences: Violation of these terms may result in account suspension, disciplinary action by your school, or removal from the work immersion program.
Attendance Requirements
Students using ImmersionTrack for attendance tracking must:
- Record time in/out accurately at their designated work location
- Enable location services when required for verification
- Complete the required number of immersion hours as specified by DepEd
- Report attendance issues to supervisors promptly
- Not leave the workplace without proper time out recording
Note: Forgetting to time out may require manual correction by your supervisor and could affect your attendance records.
Daily Logs and Documentation
Users submitting daily logs and documents must ensure:
- Logs accurately reflect tasks and activities performed
- Submissions are made within required timeframes
- Uploaded documents are authentic and unaltered
- Content does not violate confidentiality agreements with partner establishments
- Photos included have proper consent from subjects
Supervisor Responsibilities
Supervisors using ImmersionTrack agree to:
- Review and approve student attendance records accurately
- Provide timely feedback on daily logs
- Submit fair and objective student evaluations
- Report any concerns about student conduct or safety
- Maintain confidentiality of student information
Coordinator/Admin Responsibilities
School coordinators and administrators agree to:
- Create accurate user accounts with correct information
- Assign students to appropriate supervisors and establishments
- Monitor system usage and address issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with DepEd guidelines
- Protect user data and maintain system integrity
- Respond to user inquiries and support requests
Intellectual Property
ImmersionTrack and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the system developers and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our system or software without explicit permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
ImmersionTrack is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The system will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected immediately
- The system is free of viruses or harmful components
- The results from using the system will be accurate or reliable
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ImmersionTrack and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the system
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
- Any interruption or cessation of service
- Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues
- Any errors or omissions in content
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ImmersionTrack shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Philippine courts.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through system announcements or email notifications. Your continued use of ImmersionTrack after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for updates.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:
- Breach of these Terms of Service
- Completion of your work immersion program
- Request from school administration
- Extended period of inactivity
- Violation of school or DepEd policies
Upon termination, your right to use the system will immediately cease.
